254 Next Generation Choreography Series is new to the dance festival! Emerging choreographers ages 13-18 were invited to submit proposals for dance performances with similar guidelines to the professional series. The choreographers were then challenged to step outside of their comfort zone by experimenting with new music, dance, and choreographic ideas that challenged the young artist to explore the question “what is dance”?
